Temples thronged across Tamil Nadu today on the occasion of Aadi Amavasai. People went to holy places like Rameswaram and Tiruchendur to have darshan of Sami. In that way, Bamaka leader and Rajya Sabha member Anbumani Ramadoss along with his wife Sowmiya performed Swami darshan at Tiruchendur Subramania Swamy Temple. Anbumani and Sowmiya who came by car first went to the sea and got their feet wet and entered the temple. Both of them gave Dulaparam there. Dulaparam is offering offerings or items to the temple by weight.

In the temple, Moolavar, Shanmukhar and Gurubhagavan sannadi, both of them offered prayers. Then they had a darshan of the Sami who was raising the Shatru Samhara Yaga there and then again got into the car and left.

Anbumani Ramadoss, who spoke to the media after Sami’s darshan, said, “I came because my wife Soumya invited me to the temple. I visited Muruga. I prayed to Murugan for everyone. Before this, I visited Tirupati and Palani temples. I have visited Kerala and brought Ayyappan. “There is nothing else in this except that Murugan called and came,” he said.

He further said, “Many media have published false information that Vanniyars have got more than 10.5 percent representation in education and employment. We strongly condemn this. Statistics regarding Vanniyar representation are incorrect. It is unacceptable for us to do this by the Tamil Nadu government,” Anbumani Ramadoss condemned the Tamil Nadu government.
