Speaking to the media at a program held at the ZF Company operating in the Karumathambatti area of ​​Coimbatore, Professor and Dr. Peter Liyer, a member of the ZF Group’s management team, said;

It is a leading gearbox design company in India as it designs and supplies large scale wind power generation gearboxes to India and other countries under the Make in India programme.

ZF Group is also committed to expanding its production capacity and facilities and has initiated activities for the same. For this purpose, the Coimbatore company alone spent about 230 million and expanded.
Due to this, the company has achieved the honor of being India’s first wind power industry by manufacturing gear boxes for 50 giga watts of wind power.

Working at the same pace, India plans to double wind power production by 2030, according to current measurements.

He said that the Coimbatore branch is an excellent industry that uses modern technologies and processes to contribute to a greener future with the goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2040.
