A special birth ceremony was held at Madu Thampanaikulam

One of the traditional festivals of the Tamils, the celebration of the birth of a baby was held in a very special way from 8 am on Wednesday (17) in Tampanaikulam village under Madu Divisional Secretary Division.

At Vavunia – Mannar Road, Tambanaikulam Arulmiku Srimuthumari Amman Temple, Madu Divisional Secretary G. The event was chaired by Pete Nijagaran.

The event was organized by the Madu Divisional Secretariat under the auspices and guidance of the Cultural Affairs Unit of the Northern Province Ministry of Education.

Following this, the students of Sri Muthumari Amman Moral Education School, Thambanaikulam, sang the song ‘Adipirappu kalya vithuthyam’. Development Officer Manokarasa Pradeepan gave a speech on the topic ‘Birth of Tamils ​​and Heritage’ followed by dance, speech, poetry and art events by students of Tambanaikulam A.D.K.

During this, the students who presented art events were honored with prizes and all the participants were given Aadikgool and kolukattai in traditional manner.
