Uttar Pradesh : A drug addict committed suicide by killing his mother, wife and 3 children in Uttar Pradesh.
In Uttar Pradesh, the act of a drunken man who brutally killed 5 members of his family and committed suicide has shocked the region. Anurag Singh, a 45-year-old man, is addicted to alcohol in Balapur village of Sitapur district.
According to PTI news agency, Anurag was addicted to alcohol and his family would often ask him to join a rehabilitation center and this led to frequent disputes in the family.
Last night, Anurag Singh, who was mentally ill due to alcoholism, shot dead his mother Savitri. Next, he killed his wife Priyanka with a hammer. Then the cruel, his 12-year-old daughter Ashwini, 9-year-old Arna, 6-year-old Advik threw her 3 children from the 3rd floor.
Out of this, only Aadvik was alive then. Neighbors immediately rescued Aadvik and admitted him to a hospital in Lucknow. But Aadvik died without treatment. Meanwhile, Anurag Singh committed suicide by shooting himself.
At present, the Sitapur police are retrieving the dead bodies and carrying out the post-mortem after which they are conducting an inquiry with the villagers. The actions of the drug addict Anurag Singh, who killed his mother, wife and 3 children and then committed suicide, have made the local people angry.
