He used to visit the house of Vimala (50), a resident of BV Colony 18th Street. Accordingly, at 10 o’clock yesterday night, when he was at Vimala’s house, 8 people who came there entered the house and assaulted Aasithambi with a volley of blows, killed him by putting a Kadapa stone on his head and escaped. Vimala, who had gone to a nearby relative’s house, returned home shortly to find Aasithambi lying dead in a pool of blood.

Accordingly, the police led by Inspector Lokeshwari rushed, recovered Aasithambi’s body and sent it to Stanley Government Hospital for post-mortem.
