The first copy of the book ‘Kadirgama Thirumurugan’ was released yesterday in the Arulmiku Palani Sridandayutha style temple.
The book was presented to Devasthan Kannan Sivacharya, H.H. Wickramasinghe after offering special puja services to the Moolavar Tirupadams in the Dandayutha style temple.
The event was attended by Assistant Commissioner of Charities Department G. Thangam, Peshkar of the temple I. Narasimhan and many others.
This book titled ‘Kadirgama Thirumurugan’ will also be published at the International Muthamil Murugan Conference held in Palani on Sunday (25).
Hindu Charities Minister PK Shekharbabu, Eastern Province Governor Senthil Thondaman will release the book and Wickramasinghe will present copies to Abbots and special guests including Charities Commissioner PN Sreedhar.
HH Wickramasinghe has published the historical document Kathirgama Thirumurugan, which was written 84 years ago (1940) by Jaffna Saivaprakasa Sabha Palani R.M.K Press, which was published as the 8th red edition by Peradanai University senior lecturer Kalanithi Chelaturai Sudarsan as the 8th red edition.
