A young man was arrested by the police in Semmani area of Jaffna on Friday morning, and 20 kg 175 grams of cannabis was also recovered from him.
Jaffna. Acting on a secret information received by the Police Special Task Force that a young man was walking suspiciously near the bend, the task forces rushed to the spot and arrested the said young man.
The police said that the investigation conducted with the arrested youth revealed that he is also from Vavuniya.
The youth who was arrested with the recovered ganja drug has been handed over to the Jaffna Police Station by the Special Action Force for further legal action.
