Accordingly, to give the budget asked by Rajeshwar and Shankar Ganesh, all the songs of Itiya Thamarai received good response among the fans and are admired till date. Especially in this, the song Ane Naa Sarehen Oomai Naan Chinthithen became a big hit. All the songs in this film were written by Kavipperarasu Vairamuthu. An assistant director said that only one line in this song should be changed no matter how much Vairamuthu says it.
